Fiorentini & Baker was born in 2001 when English Designer Deborah Baker collaborated with Italian interior designer Paolo Fiorentini to create a timeless and ultra durable shoe. Flash forward to now, Baker is the sole owner [no pun intended] and designer, crediting her friend’s as inspiration for the artisan craft the brand embodies.
The Fiorentini & Baker boot feels exactly like it’s exterior–rugged, heavy, strong. Upon closer inspection though, you notice the soft, buttery leather that droops and folds in all the right places.
To this day, her shoes are produced in the same small factories they started in, miles away from retail stores in which they are sold. Her signature styles make it back year after year, proving their $580 price tag is worth the investment.
